Dancing For Your Health and Vitality

          This month we will continue to focus on health and dancing your way to a Fresh-New-You.  We can create a lasting exercise program that is both fun and invigorating.  Your Arthur Murray trained certified instructor will help to design a desirable program so you can use the basic dance steps and figures to harmonize your bodily features.  Take control of your body and your health by heading to our Arthur Murray of Columbia Open Houses held every Friday, night at 7pm.

Dancing For Dreams

          One way to ensure part of your aerobic exercise for this week is to sign up as a dancer in our Dancing for Dreams Fundraiser! It will be a 2 hour Dance-A-Thon done by instructors and students as well as a bake sale and silent auction. Please feel free to donate to the bake sale and silent auction. REMEMBER: ALL PROCEEDS GO TO “GIVE KIDS THE WORLD”.  The fundraiser will be going on this Friday, February 6^th beginning at 7pm. If we get enough people we might also teach a newcomers class so everyone can join in the fun.  Be sure to read our follow up newsletter for this fabulous event for a GREAT Cause!

Gentleman: Romantic Date Night for Couples

          For those romantic fellows in the Columbia area, we have a special day designed to help you and your budget out!  The lady friend you have in mind wants a romantic date night for Valentine’s Day, but all of the restaurant choices she picked are all booked!  No fear, a romantic candle lit dinner at home followed by a stimulating dance instructed at the Arthur Murray of Columbia Dance Center is the way to go.  Not only can a homemade meal show your lady friend how much you love her, but as the gentleman, you can demonstrate the passion in your relationship with the rhythm of your bodies!  Here is one example of a couple’s success with the help of Arthur Murray Dance Studios:

Valentine’s at Arthur Murray…

          On a secret date a young and very romantic gentleman brought his lady friend to the Arthur Murray Valentine’s Day Gala.  They danced the night away to a sexy and steamy Rumba, as if they where the only two people on the dance floor.  During the night’s Practice Party the gentleman arranged to have a spotlight dance with his lady friend.  After a few hot wiggles, a couple of under arm turns, and a very dreamy dip the gentleman got down on one knee and pulled out a ring! There on the dance floor in front of his fellow Arthur Murray Students the gentleman proposed to his lady friend and much to everyone’s delight she said, “Yes, As long as I can always have the first dance with you!”  Right away their dance instructor got to work, lightly choreographing their Wedding Dance.

          Of course, everyone’s Valentine’s stories are different.  With dance instruction from the Arthur Murray Dance Center, we can help you create your own romantic story.  Join us for this year’s Valentine’s Guest Gala being held on February 13^th beginning at 7pm.  This romantic event is open to the public and free of charge.  Valentine or not please come and share the fun of dancing with us. At any time during the Gala new students are welcome to sign for our 2 Private Lessons for only $50 Valentine’s Special.
